Keep Cool and Refreshed with Infused Ice Balls

It's the time of year where the days are getting longer, and the weather is getting hotter.  Why not keep cool with a refreshing drink using infused ice balls.  After a long day, I can’t think of anything better! Relax on the front porch or in the backyard sipping sparkling water, ice tea, or a cocktail that has been infused with flavored ice made with Prepara Ice Balls.  Add fruit or freshly squeezed juice, a bit of mint or how about a little spice.  There are so many different choices and variations; the possibilities are endless. Before you know it, you’ll have your own signature infusions. Enjoy!

 

Strawberry Mint Twist

Ingredients:

4 medium Strawberries - hulled and chopped

Fresh Lime juice

Few leaves of fresh Mint

Directions:

Using the Prepara Fruit Tool, hull and chop the strawberries and set aside. Take your limes and using the Prepara Juiciest Juicer, squeeze and set juice aside. Using the Prepara Ice Balls, add some strawberries and mint, close the ice ball. Uncap the top, pour in the lime juice then cap and shake the mixture until combined. Freeze overnight or until solid.

 

Citrus Berry

Ingredients:

4 medium Strawberries - hulled and chopped

1/2 cup blueberries – cut in halves

Fresh Lemon juice

A few leaves of fresh Basil

Directions:

Using the Prepara Fruit Tool, hull and chop the strawberries and set aside. Cut blueberries and set aside. Take your lemons and using the Prepara Juiciest Juicer, squeeze and set juice aside. Using the Prepara Ice Balls, add in some strawberries, blueberries and basil, close the ice ball and uncap the top, pour in the lemon juice, cap the top and shake the mixture. Freeze overnight or until solid.

 

Lemon Bliss

Ingredients:

Fresh Lemon juice

Honey

Pinch of Ginger - grated

Directions:

Using the Prepara Juiciest Juicer, squeeze lemons and set juice aside. Using the Prepara Fruit Tool grate a little ginger and set aside. Using the Prepara Ice Balls, add in 1/8 tsp honey and a pinch of ginger in each ball, close the ice ball and uncap the top, pour in the lemon juice. Cap and shake well. Freeze overnight or until solid.
